The skill
Lets your agent use a desktop app built with Electron.
Only when you ask.
Fewer bugs
Every new build gets a quick test. You find broken screens before users do.
↻ Runs by itselfevery time a new build is ready
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one app flow per run and at most 1 retry of a failed connect.
The agent reads the debugging port and the flow steps from the last run.
It quits any running copy and relaunches the app with --remote-debugging-port.
It waits a few seconds, then runs agent-browser connect to the port.
It runs agent-browser snapshot -i and lists targets with agent-browser tab if there are webviews.
It clicks, fills and presses through the short flow by element refs, re-snapshotting after each change.
It saves a screenshot and records the port and flow in the run log.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Electron skill helps.
Any Electron app, since the --remote-debugging-port flag is built into Chromium.
Some apps need a few seconds to start their webview, so the loop waits before connecting.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from vercel-labs/agent-browser and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add vercel-labs/agent-browser --skill electron.
Yes. It is published under Apache-2.0. Habit is free too.
