The skill
The asc release flow skill carries an App Store release from plan to review with the asc CLI: staging metadata, attaching a build, publishing an IPA and submitting, for iOS developers.
Only when you ask.
The habit
Releases reach review safely.
↻ Runs by itselfrelease approved
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one release per run, with no retries after a failed gate.
Find APP_ID, the version, BUILD_ID and platform, and check asc auth login.
Pick asc release stage, asc review submit or asc publish appstore.
Stage the build, then run asc validate and stop at any failing gate.
Send non-Game Center blockers and digital goods checks to asc-submission-health.
Run the chosen command with --dry-run and show you the plan.
Ask you to approve before rerunning with --confirm.
Record app, version, build and submission IDs plus the monitor command.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the ASC release flow skill helps.
No. Stuck submissions, cancellation and retries belong to asc-submission-health.
No. A dry run comes first and --confirm only after you approve the plan.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from rorkai/app-store-connect-cli-skills and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add rorkai/app-store-connect-cli-skills --skill asc-release-flow.
