The skill
Saves a decision so you can find it again later.
Only when you ask.
Time saved
Your agent keeps what you decided. You waste less time saying things twice.
↻ Runs by itselfwhen you say remember this
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one saved memory per request and one retry.
Take the core fact, decision or learning out of the request.
Pick 2-5 specific lowercased concept phrases, never generic ones like code or notes.
Add only file paths the insight really refers to, or leave the field empty.
Call memory_save with content, concepts and files, plus agentId in a multi-agent setup.
Tell the user the save worked and repeat the concepts they can search for.
To change a fact, save the corrected version so it replaces the old record.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Remember skill helps.
Use the recall skill. It is the read side of this one and searches the same concepts.
The forget skill removes a memory you did not mean to keep.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from rohitg00/agentmemory and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add rohitg00/agentmemory --skill remember.
