The skill
Finds what you did and decided in past chats.
Only when you ask.
Time saved
Your agent remembers old work. You lose less time asking the same thing twice.
↻ Runs by itselfwhen you ask about past work
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one search question and at most 10 results.
Call memory_smart_search with the question as query and limit 10, plus project, agentId or targetLayer when scoped.
Call memory_smart_search again with expandIds and the same filters before quoting any full content.
Show type, title and narrative per session, with provenance only when the response gives it.
Put observations with importance 7 or higher at the top.
With memory_recall, read matched_count, excluded_by_budget and content_truncated before calling a result empty.
If nothing matched, suggest 2-3 other search terms and stop without guessing.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Recall skill helps.
No. It says nothing matched and offers other search terms.
From the remember skill, which is the write side of the same agentmemory store.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from rohitg00/agentmemory and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add rohitg00/agentmemory --skill recall.
