Strategy Red-Team

The skill
The strategy red-team skill attacks the load-bearing assumptions of a PRD, roadmap or strategy, ranks failure modes and returns the cheapest test and kill criterion for each, for product managers and founders before a big decision.
Only when you ask.
The habit

When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
One plan per run, at most five kill-assumptions, one retry.
List what the plan asserts and keep only the claims that would sink it if false.
State the best case for each load-bearing claim, then attack that version.
Phrase each risk as a concrete, falsifiable Fails if condition.
Order by impact, likelihood of being wrong and how cheap the test is.
Say plainly where the plan holds up and never invent a weakness.
For each surviving assumption add evidence to get this week, a kill criterion and the cheapest test.
Write the ranked red-team report and add open tests to the board.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Strategy Red-Team skill helps.
No. A pre-mortem imagines failure after the fact; this attacks the assumptions now, while they are still cheap to test.
No. Every item must be specific to the plan, and sound claims are called sound.
Only if you ask. Then it runs the plan through another model and flags where they disagree.
