The skill
The triage ci flake skill gives agents a reproduce-first routine for e2e failures in CI: aggregate failing checks, rerun the exact Playwright test with dev and prod builds, fix and confirm with repeated runs.
Only when you ask.
The habit

When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one failing suite per run; no fix without reproduction.
Your agent reads the failing checks and lists suite, test name, error and file for each.
It groups failures by shared selector, shared file or same suite.
It frees port 3000, starts pnpm dev for the suite, waits with curl and runs only the failing test.
If it passed, it runs pnpm prepare-run-test-against-prod and pnpm dev:prod, then the test again.
It applies a condition-based fix that respects the playwright and payload eslint rules.
It reruns the test ten times and then the full suite file.
It shows a summary with files and results and asks you before creating a PR.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Triage CI Flake skill helps.
No. The skill forbids any fix before the dev and prod reproduction steps ran.
It rechecks CI logs for environment differences and loops the test to catch a race.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from payloadcms/payload and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add payloadcms/payload --skill triage-ci-flake.
