Nx Workspace

The skill
The nx workspace skill helps your agent explore an Nx monorepo read-only: list and filter projects, read full resolved targets, check nx.json and query the project graph, for teams who work in Nx workspaces.
Only when you ask.
The habit
A current map of your monorepo.

When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one workspace map per run.
Your agent checks the lockfile to know whether to prefix nx with npx, pnpx or yarn.
It runs nx show projects --json and counts them with jq.
For each project it runs nx show project <name> --json instead of reading project.json.
It runs nx graph --print to collect dependency edges.
It notes targetDefaults, namedInputs and plugins.
It compares with the last map and writes new projects, removed targets and new edges.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Nx Workspace skill helps.
No. The skill is read-only exploration.
The skill says it holds only part of the config; nx show project --json includes inferred targets.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from nrwl/nx-ai-agents-config and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add nrwl/nx-ai-agents-config --skill nx-workspace.
Yes. It is published under MIT. Habit is free too.
