Netlify Forms

The skill
The netlify forms skill helps an agent add and debug forms on Netlify sites: detection at deploy time, AJAX submission, file uploads, spam filtering and notifications, including forms in Next.js, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Astro and Gatsby.
Only when you ask.
The habit
Every form still gets submissions.
↻ Runs by itselfform markup changed
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one pull request and at most 20 forms per run.
Your agent lists every form tag with data-netlify or netlify in the changed files.
Each form name must be unique and match its hidden form-name input.
JS-rendered and SSR forms need a hidden copy in public/__forms.html with exactly the same fields.
AJAX code must send URL-encoded bodies, and SSR apps must post to /__forms.html, not /.
Custom action paths must be extensionless, like /thank-you.
The agent comments the failed checks and updates the list of registered forms.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Netlify Forms skill helps.
Forms that render in JavaScript are not in the built HTML, so without the skeleton file Netlify never registers them and submissions fail silently.
The skill says to check the Spam list first, since Akismet may have flagged it.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from netlify/context-and-tools and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add netlify/context-and-tools --skill netlify-forms.
Yes. It is published under MIT. Habit is free too.
