The skill
The brag slim skill turns a project folder or a website URL into a short launch video with music, motion, a poster frame and share copy, for builders who want to show what they made without video tools.
Only when you ask.
The habit
A launch video per release.
↻ Runs by itselfnew feature or release
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
One video per run; at most one re-render after the stills check.
Read the project code or the live site for copy, colors, fonts and the main flow, skipping secrets and build output.
Decide what it is, who it is for, the hook, the tone and the share caption, and ask the user if the input is unclear.
Save brag-plan.md with angle, highlights, punchline and a timed storyboard.
Build the scenes with the tools on the machine and fix overflow and contrast in stills before rendering.
Render brag.mp4 into brag-output/, set brag.jpg as frame 0 and write share-copy.txt.
Tell the user where the files are and offer another tone or a new scene.
Write the angle, tone and duration to the run log.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Brag Slim skill helps.
No. The skill builds the video with whatever tools are already on the machine.
Yes. Give it a URL and it gathers copy, colors and visuals from the live site.
The skill forbids carrying secrets, internal URLs or personal data into the video and swaps in fictional stand-ins when the UI shows them.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from latent-spaces/brag and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add latent-spaces/brag --skill brag-slim.
