The skill
The propagate skill generates tests from Allium specifications: assertion, property-based and state machine tests mapped to real code, with every obligation reconciled, for teams that keep a spec as the source of truth.
Only when you ask.
The habit
Spec changes regenerate the tests.
↻ Runs by itselfallium spec changed
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one spec per run; at most 2 attempts per obligation, and stops when a full pass covers nothing new.
Your agent reads the spec and judges if it is mature enough, else suggests elicit or distill.
It loads the test obligations from allium plan and the domain model from allium model.
It finds the test framework, any PBT framework, fixtures and existing tests.
It links each entity, rule and surface to the code that implements it.
It writes assertion, property-based and state machine tests in the project's conventions.
It checks that the generated tests compile and run.
It covers gaps with at most two attempts per obligation and reports the rest.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Propagate skill helps.
The skill derives the obligations by hand from its test-generation taxonomy.
No. It references existing tests that already cover an obligation and only fills gaps.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from juxt/allium and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add juxt/allium --skill propagate.
Yes. It is published under MIT. Habit is free too.
