The skill
The Google Drive (gws) skill lets your agent manage Drive files, folders, shared drives, permissions, comments and revisions through the gws command line, for teams who want their agent to work in Google Drive.
Only when you ask.
The habit
Know what changed in Drive.
↻ Runs by itselfevery morning
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after 100 changes per run; the rest wait for the next run.
Your agent reads ../gws-shared/SKILL.md for auth, global flags and security rules.
It reads the saved page token, or gets one with changes getStartPageToken.
It runs gws drive changes list from that token, after checking gws schema.
For each changed file it runs permissions list to see who has access.
It writes what changed and who can see it.
It stores the new page token for the next run.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Google Drive (gws) skill helps.
No. This loop only reads changes and permissions.
The skill says to inspect each method's params before calling it and to build --params and --json from that.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from googleworkspace/cli and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add googleworkspace/cli --skill gws-drive.
Yes. It is published under Apache-2.0. Habit is free too.
