When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one master render, four platform exports and at most one retry each.
Your agent reads duration, resolution and codecs of out/video.mp4 with ffprobe.
FFmpeg writes out/video-youtube.mp4, out/video-twitter.mp4, out/video-linkedin.mp4 and out/video-web.mp4 with the settings for each.
It renders a short out/preview.gif with a generated palette.
ffprobe checks that every export has a video stream and fits the platform limits.
If a file is too large it raises CRF or lowers resolution and exports again.
The run log records settings, file sizes and any failed export.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the FFmpeg skill helps.
No. It only writes the platform files into out/. Uploading stays with you.
The skill notes that playbackRate must be constant, so variable or extreme speed changes are better done in FFmpeg first.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from digitalsamba/claude-code-video-toolkit and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add digitalsamba/claude-code-video-toolkit --skill ffmpeg.
