Content Strategy

The skill
Content strategy is a skill that plans what content to create: pillars, topic clusters, scored priorities and a balanced calendar, from customer research and search data.
Only when you ask.
The habit
A ranked content plan each month.
↻ Runs by itselffirst of the month
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one plan per month with at most 20 scored ideas.
Read .agents/product-marketing.md if it exists and ask you only for missing context.
Search site:reddit.com, site:quora.com and site:competitor.com/blog, plus any keyword exports or transcripts you give.
Read the top results and write one sentence on what the piece adds, or drop it.
Score each idea 1 to 10 per factor. Take Search Potential from your Ahrefs, SEMrush or GSC export, else mark it estimate.
Split the calendar roughly 60/30/10 across searchable, shareable and experimental.
Write pillars, priority topics and the cluster map into the board.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Content Strategy skill helps.
No. It plans. Writing goes to the copywriting skill.
If no sentence explains what the piece adds over the top results, the skill says not to write it.
The search score is marked estimate, so you see which rankings rest on guesses.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from coreyhaines31/marketingskills and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill content-strategy.
Yes. It is published under MIT. Habit is free too.
