The skill

When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one before/after pair per run.
Write down the behavior, visible commands, initial state and the controlled variable.
Run .github/skills/vhs-demo/scripts/preflight.sh and stop if a tool is missing.
Record absolute path, version, revision and SHA-256 for each binary.
Use a temp workspace, synthetic data and cleared credential variables.
Author the tape with Wait+Screen for results and run vhs.
Run inspect.sh and check every frame for secrets, clipping and transient states.
Report tape and GIF paths, size, duration and what the demo does not prove.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the VHS Demo skill helps.
